I have always enjoyed cooking. My love for "baking" was ignited when one of my children was unable to enjoy the baked sweets & desserts commonly found in grocery stores due to allergies. I would "test" my creations by giving them away to friends, friends' kids and school parents at sporting events. Eventually, kids and parents, without allergies, would see me and ask for my desserts. The requests continued with people asking to buy them. Now, I enjoy creating surprisingly moist, delicious desserts that amaze people because they are vegan, dairy-free or may contain only traces of milk (chocolate chips are manufactured on equipment that manufactures milk products). I seek to make each recipe healthier and full of "goodness".
When possible, unbleached flour is decreased in recipes and replaced with oatmeal, raw wheat germ, flaxseed meal and whole wheat.
Most desserts have 0% cholesterol!
